Senior Organizer
We are hiring for a Senior Organizer. This individual will be our second full-time team member, joining the executive director to build the organization. They will help expand our city-wide membership of over 50 grassroots leaders and grow our presence in key neighborhoods.
We seek a self-motivated, outgoing Senior Organizer to develop our organizing structure, conduct outreach, and lead base building, training, education, and leadership development among parents and prospective parents in New York. This role involves engaging members in city and state campaigns and coalitions related to our mission. The Senior Organizer will also facilitate neighborhood and city-wide in-person meetings on weekends—when parents are available—ensure child care options are provided, and implement ongoing leadership development training throughout the year.
